Render and Motion Blur Test

Motion Blur

I've just started to introduce motion blur into my images to give them a bit more of a none CG look. It does add a load of time onto the render time (it's best done in post rather that at render time cause its less expensive) and it can be quite subtle but every little thing helps in fooling the viewer.

Below are two images of the same scene, one with motion blur and one without.

Render Testing

While I've been busy working on my major project I have also been looking into extra stuff to make my work look better. I've been messing about with rendering settings in Maya and the results are starting to look pretty good. I'm trying my best to move away from Maya's camera and to start making it a bit more bespoke.
